ANNYEONG HASEYO!!!

It's March 2nd and we finally have internet! We thought that this blog would be a good idea to keep everyone at home posted and to share our pictures (cause we have many!)

We've been here for a little over two months now. A lot has happened since then : we've moved apartments once already, we have been exploring Korean food - some good, some bad...we've taken a trip to Jeju island and much more. January was a month of adjustments and we are still learning about Korea everyday.

We really like the school where we work - ECC Gwangju...we have 20 foreign teachers and about 20 Korean teachers. It's one of the biggest, if not the biggest English Academy in South Korea. We work from Mon-Sat, but time has been flying so fast. It's hard to believe that we've been here for two months already.

January went by fast, and our first vacation was already approaching. We decided to tag along with four other teachers from our school. It was strange arriving at the airport, nice big palm trees outside and we were wearing our winter coats cause it was cold. Shauna, one of the teachers we went with, got her Korean drivers licence and so we rented a van and away we went! We saw many things such as waterfalls, a crater, the highest peak in South Korea, visited some beaches, caves, parks...and of course drinking!
